Dubai
Dubai is one of the seven emirates that make up the United
Arab Emirates (UAE). It is both a city and an emirate, located on the southeast
coast of the Persian Gulf. Dubai is known for its impressive skyline, modern
architecture, and as a global hub for business, finance, tourism, and luxury
shopping.
Here are some key features and attractions in Dubai:
Burj Khalifa: The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the
world, standing at over 828 meters (2,716 feet). It's an iconic symbol of Dubai
and offers stunning views of the city.
Palm Jumeirah: This is a man-made island shaped like a palm
tree and is one of the largest artificial islands in the world. It's home to
luxury hotels, residences, and entertainment facilities.
Dubai Mall: This is one of the largest shopping malls in the
world, located next to the Burj Khalifa. It features hundreds of shops,
restaurants, an aquarium, an ice rink, and an indoor theme park.
In 2000, soccer’s international governing body, FIFA,
selected Real Madrid the best football team of the 20th century. Two years
later, the club celebrated its 100-year anniversary.
